Repost from Liam Mitchell - Last week I had the privilege of returning to Grafton High School, my old school, to run an Engineering Outreach Workshop. Growing up, there was a common belief that university wasn't an option - for regional students, that being from a rural area meant fewer opportunities. In fact, only 1 in 4 GHS students went on to university in 2024. |

Today is R U OK? Day, a reminder that a simple conversation can change a life. Asking - Are you OK? - doesn't require expertise, just empathy, time, and a willingness to listen. Let's take a moment today to check-in with someone. A genuine conversation can make all the difference. Let's continue to foster a workplace where mental health is supported, and kindness is part of our culture. |
