abcKJ Driving innovation beyond borders!

Clay Chu, Prof Rukmi Dutta, and John Fletcher recently showcased their progress in scaling and commercialising the School's IP in high-speed electromagnetic machine design to Shanghai's National Innovation Center par Excellence (NICE) and Wuxi Industrial Innovation Research Institute (WIIRI) as part of the UNSW-NICE collaboration.

Joined by the Vice-Chancellor and the Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), the showcase highlighted the significance of these projects and the dedication of teams awarded funding.

It also strengthened pathways for future partnerships in China.

Excited to build on this momentum and explore new opportunities for global collaboration!

abcKJ What an inspiring day!

Last week, students from Ingleburn High School visited UNSW for a hands-on STEMM experience: building polymer balls, creating batteries, exploring materials science labs, and cracking a computer science escape room.

This was made possible by an EDI Grant and the incredible efforts of our STEMM Champions team.

Huge thanks to Yingge (Lucy) Chen, Wendy Lee, Shane Xie and many others who generously gave their time and heart to spark curiosity and confidence in the next generation.
