| We hope everyone has fared well through the unusually hot and sticky weather of January & February. Autumn has always been a good time to plan, organise and complete things. From the ones in the USA, the snowfalls were better that previous years. We haven't heard anything from our working friends Europe or India. | ||

| From last year's Elsoc Industry Night for Undergraduates that had an Alumni presence with a dedicated table, I came across a chap that mentors the FIRST Robotics Competition group in ElecEng after hours. They're mostly high-school students that come from all over Sydney one or two evenings in the week. They'll be competing amongst the other teams for the prize as well. They're called "UNSW EMU Robotics". | ||

| "Happy New Year!!" on the Western and Chinese calendars of 1st January and 10th February's Wood flavoured Dragon. Hopefully, you've heard or seen some relevant and interesting snippets over last year's Water flavoured Rabbit that you'll be able to appear "lucky" from this year's expansive influence. Our quietness on this channel was the space-in-between the notes in a musical melody. If there was no space, all you would hear is noise because they'd all be jammed-up together! On purpose, of course. Another yearly cycle, is the Ramadan one over a month where they fast during the day. My high-school friends mentioned it's a time of self-discipline, self-control, sacrifice and empathy for those who are less fortunate. The one for 2024 will be 11th March to 9th April. Please give your colleagues & friends who take part some space if needed. | ||
