For the younger engineering players, sometimes you have to define the problem as there may be many answers. Sometimes understanding the context of the problem is tricky. When you find it, the next challenge is finding a best-fit solution. When the "chief" asks the "indian", "When will it be done?", your quick answer maybe "I'll have it by Friday". With a little bit of thought, your reply may be, "I'm planning for Friday. The one thing I'm watching is the integration. If that becomes a problem, I'll know by Wednesday and I'll tell you immediately". (from Corey Berg's post) Hopefully, the chief will respond with something like, "I see you know what you're doing.
